I enjoyed that the room was big even with a heater. Everything was modern, though a few employees were so relaxed. Location: the hotel was very close to train / bus station as well as train station/ bus terminal. Tried some takeout specials at Ramen Kaneyuki, luckily it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The location of this hotel was perfect, just a few minutes away from the station and city center. It made it very convenient to access the loop bus and train. The staff provided excellent service and were very attentive to detail. The rooms, although smaller than expected, were still very comfortable and supported by modern facilities for a comfortable stay.
The only area that could be improved was the lack of natural sunlight in the rooms.

I had a pleasant stay at a traditional ryokan with a reasonable price. The renovated bathrooms had a charming traditional style. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the train station. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities and free use of the washing machine and dryer were a plus. The room was clean and warm enough, which was great for a winter visit. I would recommend this hotel for its lovely atmosphere and convenient location.

The room had a good size for a family of four. We enjoyed the Japanese style bedding, even though the blankets were not warm enough for the winter temperatures. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation and shops. The staff was friendly and provided helpful information about the area and activities.
The walls were thin and we could hear the neighbors next door. The hot water supply was unstable during peak hours, and we had to wait for a while to take a shower.

We had a fantastic stay at a traditional-style Japanese home in Fujikawaguchiko. the staff at Samurise Kura were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the place was spotlessly clean, and they even took care of our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the area. the hotel's electric bikes were a highlight, allowing us to easily explore the lakes and town. We also met fellow travelers who had hiked Mt Fuji, which was fascinating. Cons: None 🙌🏼.
